Dismayado si Pangulong Duterte sa pagbasura ng CA's sa appointment ni Lopez
DAVAO - President Rodrigo 'Roa' Duterte is frustrated abolish the Commission on Appointments (CA) on the appointment of Gina Lopez as secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
This is the statement of the president in his speech at the opening ceremony of the midyear convention of the Philippine Orthopedic Association at the SMX Convention Center in Lanang, Davao City.
"According to President Duterte, he like of Lopez perseverance to save the environment from destructive mining. "
But the president also admitted that he could not "control" the CA, reason cannot prevent to remove Lopez from office of the secretary.
Maliban sa pangulo, una nang nagpahayag ng pagkadismaya ang ilan sa mga mambabatas matapos ibasura ng makapangyarihang CA ang appointment nito.
